You only need look at the influence of major stars such as David Beckham or Usain Bolt to know that there’s a whole lot more to these people than their sporting prowess.
Sports portraiture is an opportunity to see a side of an athlete that isn’t always obvious when they are on the track, the field or in the ring. Those in-action shots, whilst thrilling to capture, do not show us everything – there is often much more of a story to be told.
I specialise in Sports and Fitness Portraiture including implied nude photography (showing the naked human form in stunning detail in a non-sexual way).
Branding, lifestyle photography and product photography are my other areas of expertise.
Sometimes, you take an incredible, near-perfect photograph…
but something niggles; somehow, it’s not quite right.
You might not be able to figure out what it is.
But I can.
With many thousands of hours’ experience of Adobe Photoshop (trained by Adobe), I have a knack of getting to the heart of the picture, pinpointing the problem – which may be almost invisible to the untrained eye – and, crucially fixing the image in what is sometimes a painstaking and challenging process.
I’m not done until it really IS perfect.
Not only do I work on commissions, but I also sell my own products on Etsy – visit my prints and cards shop at Cynat and vintage items at BakTraks.
